Scientific advisory board

The role of the SAB

Rigorous, independent, and external scientific review is essential to maintain the highest standards of scientific excellence in the IGDR.

Individual scientists already receive peer review each time they submit manuscripts and grant proposals. However programmatic and institutional evaluation is also important for the scientific project led by the director of the IGDR.

The Scientific Advisory Board is comprised of distinguished scientists, who are internationally recognized for excellence in their field of research.

The role of the SAB is to examine scientific project developed by each group leader and the general scientific project of the institute, to advice the director on the recruitment and to provide recommendations for improvements.
