In a few words
Denis Chrétien performed his PhD at the Center for Atomic Research in Grenoble (1987-90), under the supervision of Richard H. Wade. He then joined the European Molecular Biology Laboratory in Heidelberg to perform a post-doctorate in the groups of Eric Karsenti and Steve Fuller (1991-96). In 1996, he obtained a position at the interface between Cell Biology, Structural Biology and Biophysics, under the supervision of Anthony Hyman (1996-98). In 1998, Denis Chrétien was recruited as a CNRS scientist at the University of Tours (1998-99), and then moved to Rennes under the ATIPE program from the CNRS (first ATIPE in Rennes), at the Cell and Molecular Interaction Unit (1999-1012). In 2012, the team joined the Institute of Genetics and Development of Rennes.
