Congratulations to Pei-Yun (Jenny) WU Bronze Medal Winner CNRS 2019

The bronze medal rewards a first work dedicating a researcher specialist of his field. This distinction represents CNRS encouragement to pursue well-researched and already fruitful research.

Cell growth and development of organisms, genetic material, or DNA, must be copied and transmitted during cell division. This process is very controlled and the deregulation of these mechanisms contributes to many diseases. With her team, Jenny WU seeks to understand how genetic information is copied and maintained as well as the interaction that exists between the organization of genome duplication and cell function.
